Executive Director
The Escoffier Scholarship Foundation seeks a strategic, entrepreneurial leader to serve as its Executive Director, growing the organization’s capacity to assist students with a passion for the culinary and pastry arts.
The Escoffier Scholarship Foundation (ESF) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to expanding access to culinary, pastry, and hospitality education for students with financial need. The Foundation supports scholarships that enable students to complete their education at the Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts and enter the food and hospitality workforce prepared for fulfilling, fruitful, and long-term careers.
The Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts (Escoffier), founded in 2010, is one of the top ranked culinary schools in the world, offering a proven combination of a classic and contemporary approach to modern industry skills training, as well as a sustainability-centered and business-focused curriculum. Escoffier is also the only US accredited culinary school offering 100% online degrees with culinary classes and hands-on industry externships. Escoffier educates more than 7,500 students annually, with more than 86% of students qualifying for financial aid.
ESF raises approximately $600,000 annually to support student scholarships with a goal to grow to $1 million in the next year and $2 million annually in the next three years. In 2025, ESF awarded 1,500 scholarships worth over $450,000 to future culinary leaders. The Foundation partners closely with industry leaders, high-net-worth individuals, and corporate donors—particularly within food, beverage, hospitality, and consumer packaged goods (CPG) sectors.
The Executive Director is the chief executive and chief fundraising officer of the Escoffier Scholarship Foundation. Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Executive Director is responsible for overall leadership, strategy, fundraising performance, financial stewardship, governance support, and external representation of ESF.
